The Archery Premier League brings together six city-named franchise teams, elite Indian and international archers, and a fresh format built for fast-paced television.
Born out of a vision to make archery a household sport in India, the Archery Premier League is the country's first franchise-based archery competition. Season 1 ran from the 2nd to the 12th of October 2025 at the Yamuna Sports Complex in Delhi.
Six teams — Rajputana Royals, Mighty Marathas, Chero Archers, Chola Chiefs, Prithviraj Yodhas and Kakatiya Knights — competed across a round-robin and playoffs, with each tie decided over a best-of-six set format inspired by global match-play archery.
The league is governed in partnership with the Archery Association of India and supported by the Sports Authority of India. After a hard-fought final, the Rajputana Royals were crowned the inaugural champions.
Olympians, world medallists and emerging youth on the same shooting line for ten nights of head-to-head archery.
A fast, tie-breaker friendly format engineered for prime-time broadcast and digital reels.
A scouting and draft model that opens a paid professional pathway for India's archers.
